With focus on engaging boys under Umang LSE programme, a new manual “UJJWAL” has been designed in partnership with UNFPA to challenge the existing gender norms, and in promoting gender equality and equity towards respecting girls and women and shoulder equal sharing of responsibilities in all settings – home, school, and community.
A series of 10 posters developed specifically on the theme of positive masculinity to sensitize boys towards respecting women and girls and promoting the concept of positive masculinity. These posters are displayed in all government schools of Madhya Pradesh.
